How many people fit on a Banff Pedicab?
Banff Pedicabs are designed for three passengers. It may be more comfortable for just two adults. Five is our record, and there are no limits! But do be aware that the more weight on the back, the slower the journey will be.
Do Banff Pedicabs have motor assist?
No. Banff Pedicabs do have batteries to power the full LED lighting system, and Bluetooth stereo system, but it’s your rider doing all the work
Do Banff Pedicabs operate at night?
Yes. Banff Pedicabs have a full lighting system, like a car, and night-time is a great time to be out on a Pedicab!
Can I book a 2-hour tour?
Yes, of course. Select your first hour, then when you are asked for your Name and Email address, select “+ Add to Booking” (in green, top left) to add additional hours.
Are there any age restrictions?
No. Banff Pedicabs are for everyone!
Do I have to wear a helmet?
If you are under 18, yes; if you are 18 or over, no (just like on a bicycle).
Are Banff Pedicabs safe?
Pedicabs in North America and Europe have an excellent safety record generally. Banff Pedicab passengers are encouraged to use the seatbelt available for all passengers. Banff Pedicabs have powerful hydraulic rear disk breaks and are constantly, carefully maintained.
What about the weather?
As the highest town in Canada, Banff is at an elevation of 1383 m (4,537 feet) and has a mountain climate. Check the weather forecast and dress/prepare appropriately.
